As a woman ages, one of her greatest quests is to figure out how to eliminate cellulite. Cellulite, also known as “orange peel syndrome” among average Janes everywhere, is when the skin takes on a dimpled appearance, similar to the peel of an orange or cottage cheese. How Cellulite Forms

The Culprit Behind Cellulite
If you want to eliminate cellulite, the first step would be to determine what is most likely causing it to develop in the first place. The truth is, no one really knows exactly what causes cellulite to form, although there are signs which seem to be similar in many cases. It seems likely that cellulite can afflict those who do not lead the most active lifestyle. Being overweight or eating too many foods high in fat, carbs, and salt have been pin-pointed as a few of the possible causes of the development of cellulite, but they aren’t they only factors to consider. Smoking and wearing tight clothing which may limit blood flow to certain areas of the body are other known contributors. Hormones such as estrogen, prolactin, and insulin can also contribute to cellulite formation, as can genetic predispositions, such as one’s metabolic rate, circulatory functionality, as well as the way in which one’s body distributes fat.
Possible Ways to Reduce Cellulite
As mentioned above, there is no exact or direct cause behind cellulite, but it could be a combination of factors. Omega fish oil can also be purchased in gel-tablet form. Increasing blood circulation and doing exercises which target the areas affected with cellulite are other possible ways to reduce cellulite. Although these treatment methods may not produce an immediate improvement for existing patches of cellulite, there is always the chance that these tips can prevent the condition from worsening or appearing in other parts of the body.
