Facial Blackheads
How To Get Rid Of Facial Blackheads
Nearly everyone is plagued with facial blackheads at some point in their life. These unsightly and very unwelcome decorations on your face are not caused by germs like you might think, but if they are touched or pressed excessively, they can lead to infection. Also, if a blackhead ruptures it can cause a severe acne formation to appear so they should never be poked at with needles either. Unfortunately, blackheads typically take an extremely long time to go away and they may never do so without a little help from you.
A Detailed Look At Blackheads
Those black speckles that you are looking at are not dust. The reason that facial blackheads are black is because there is a reaction that happens between air and excess oil in your pores. Therefore, washing your face excessively will do nothing to remedy the problem. All you will do is dry your skin out so it will react by producing more oil and make your problem worse.
Facial blackheads are caused when the pores of your skin become blocked with sebum. This condition is often aggravated significantly by hormonal factors, oil-based cleanser or makeup products and humid conditions. Unfortunately, these are not something you simply grow out of as they can affect people of any age, sex or race. Blackheads mainly show up on areas that have more sebaceous glands such as the nose, forehead and chin. There are basically two different types of blackheads being light and dark, however, there are other divisions used by some professionals based on their location and severity.

- Steam – Women have been passing this natural remedy down through generations for many years. Simply boil a pot of hot water and remove it from the heat. Place your face in the steam (not too close) and hold a towel over your head to create a tent that will capture the steam. Be sure to wash your face after to remove any impurities that have come loose.
- Tea Tree Oil – Wiping your face clean with tea tree oil is effective for many people however, you should know that some individuals are allergic to this so you may want to try it somewhere like the back of your hand first before you end up with a rash on your face.
- Breakfast – Mix up some plain oats and mash in some strawberries. This is an excellent exfoliate to clear away those facial blackheads.
- Honey – Combine honey and lemon and smear it on your face and allow it to harden completely before you rinse it away.
Blackhead Facial
To make a blackhead facial, you will need two eggs, a small bowl, lemon juice, paintbrush and a whisk. Begin by separating the egg whites, these are what you will be using. Add a few drops of lemon juice and whisk the eggs until they are foamy.
Now, you will use your paintbrush and paint the mixture on your freshly washed face. Always apply with upward strokes. Allow the mask to dry which will usually take around 15 minutes. Once it is dry, rinse away with lukewarm water and finish with a splash of cold water to close your pores. Your skin will feel fresh, tone and free of facial blackheads.
